Full-Stack Developer – Remote (Toronto)

About the role

We are partnering with a Canadian start‑up to build cutting‑edge web applications for the healthcare sector. As a Full‑Stack Developer you will work remotely from Toronto to create, maintain and enhance platforms that enable viewing, annotating and analyzing whole slide images for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with system designers to define architecture and implementation plans.
• Develop and extend web applications using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies.
• Review, test, and improve existing features to ensure high quality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong ability to learn new technologies and libraries through self‑study.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Python or Java programming.
• React JS for front‑end development.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Back‑end frameworks such as Flask, Django, Rails or Express.
• Relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
