Front Store Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Front Store Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. You will ensure excellent customer service, oversee cash handling, merchandising and loss‑prevention while supporting a team of cashiers and merchandisers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer service functions, including cash handling, cashier supervision and merchandising.
• Train and guide cashiers and merchandisers, ensuring compliance with store policies and operating procedures.
• Implement loss‑prevention standards, manage daily cash office inventory and cashier tracking.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve refunds or exchanges, and promote the CSI Survey.
• Maintain clean, organized shelves, proper product rotation and set up/tear down of displays as directed.
• Uphold health and safety, housekeeping, and store image standards; perform clerical and banking duties as needed.

• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Independent thinker with problem‑solving skills focused on customer satisfaction.
• Organised, efficient time‑management and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of health, beauty and convenience products.
