Front Desk Associate / Clinic Flow Coordinator

About the role

Medcan is seeking an energetic Front Desk Associate who will also act as a Clinic Flow Coordinator at its York Mills location. You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience while supporting the efficient flow of patients through the Year‑Round Care clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients, check them in and out, and escort them to treatment rooms.
• Process payments for appointments and products.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to optimise each client’s visit and manage wait‑times.
• Make reminder calls, provide coffee and beverages, and maintain the lounge area.
• Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and foster loyalty through memorable service.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including next‑day preparation.
• Provide administrative and physician support as needed.

Required profile

• Availability to work Monday‑Friday weekdays.
• Prior experience in a similar front‑desk or hospitality role; hotel or luxury spa experience is a plus.
• Two years of healthcare experience and/or education in health is an asset.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and build relationships with practitioners.
• Willingness to attend a two‑week training program at 150 York St, Toronto, and occasional further training.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office.
