Foundry Production Supervisor

About the role

Gamma Foundries Inc is looking for a Foundry Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the shop floor. You will ensure safe, efficient, and quality‑driven production while supporting and developing the team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all department activities, including melt deck, molding lines, pouring, shakeout and finishing operations.
• Monitor metallurgical parameters such as chemistry, temperature and pour rates to guarantee casting integrity.
• Control sand system variables (AFS grain fineness, permeability, strength testing) and manage consumables.
• Drive productivity, quality and delivery KPIs, and report attendance and performance metrics.
• Lead safety compliance, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects aimed at reducing scrap and optimizing processes.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to resolve technical issues.
• Manage inventory transactions for raw materials, castings and returns.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of foundry processes and hands‑on production experience.
• Proven ability to supervise staff, handle employee relations and conduct performance reviews.
• Experience with safety programs and ISO compliance in an industrial setting.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
