Food Service Worker – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Food Service Worker to join our team on a full‑time basis. You will prepare, present and serve meals while ensuring high standards of quality, safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays between work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Store food correctly, wrap, date, rotate and maintain food‑safety procedures.
• Set up daily purchase items and maintain a clean work environment.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow approved recipes, portion controls and serving temperatures; alert cooks to temperature issues.
• Serve customers courteously, handle cash register transactions when required, and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations across retail areas.

Required profile

• FoodSafe Level 1 certification.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Physical capability to lift and move food items and equipment.
• Previous experience in food service (healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast‑food) is an asset.
