Food Service Team Member – Sushi Chef

About the role

Join Bento’s fast‑paced kitchen team at the Loblaws location in Salaberry‑de‑Valleyfield. As a Food Service Team Member specializing in sushi, you will help deliver fresh, high‑quality dishes while providing friendly service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients for sushi, salads, rice bowls and other menu items.
• Assemble sushi rolls and other dishes according to recipe specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Answer customer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Support the team by performing any additional tasks needed for smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food service; sushi preparation experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg (33 lb) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively.
