Food Service Supervisor / Shift Manager

About the role

A&W in Sicamous is looking for reliable, experienced Food Service Supervisors to join the leadership team. This full‑time, permanent position involves overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate front‑line staff during assigned shifts, assign stations and manage breaks.
• Open and close the restaurant, following safe cash‑handling procedures.
• Address operational, staff, or guest concerns professionally and calmly.
• Support training, coaching, and onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Complete shift documentation, inventory counts, and waste monitoring.
• Assist with basic food and labour cost control and routine administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Reliable and experienced in food service or restaurant environments.
• Strong sense of responsibility and pride in work.
• Ability to lead a team, handle cash, and manage inventory.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including opening or closing shifts.
