About the role
We are seeking a proactive Food Service Supervisor to lead our restaurant team in Winnipeg. The role involves overseeing daily food preparation, ensuring quality standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain work schedules for a team of 11‑15 staff members.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare, portion, and assemble food trays.
- Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure food and service meet quality‑control standards.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Check assembly of trays and oversee tray preparation.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with efficient interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral communication and flexibility.
- Team player with initiative and dependability.
- Ability to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and walk frequently.
Required skills
- WHMIS Certificate.
- Smart Serve certification.
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Safe Food Handling Certificate.
