Convenience Store Manager

About the role

The Convenience Store Manager will lead the daily operations of Winners Food Store in Winnipeg, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers and a smoothly run retail outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule staff for early‑morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Maintain inventory levels, receive deliveries and control stock rotation.
• Oversee cash handling, POS transactions and daily financial reconciliation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor sales performance and implement promotional activities.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in retail or convenience‑store management.
• Availability for shift work, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• No specific technical certifications are required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
