Food Counter Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Food Counter Attendant to join our team. You will work on‑site in a fast‑paced food service environment, ensuring that customers receive clean tables, fresh food, and prompt service.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs after each use.
• Load buspans and trays, and package take‑out orders.
• Portion, wrap, and heat simple food items as required.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take orders.
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other display areas.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, and equipment.
• Remove kitchen garbage, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Required profile

• Fluent in English.
• No formal education required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Ability to work physically on site with no remote option.
• Willingness to follow hygiene and safety standards.
