Floor Covering Installer – Vancouver

About the role

Join BC Hardwood Floor Co.,Ltd. as a Floor Covering Installer in Vancouver. You will work on a variety of flooring projects, from hardwood to resilient carpet, ensuring high‑quality installations for residential and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces before installation.
• Cut, fasten, and install underlay, underpadding, and floor coverings.
• Prepare flooring plans, schedule work, and remove existing floor coverings.
• Use knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting and perform glue‑down installations.
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings and estimate material costs.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience in floor covering installation.
• Availability to answer screening questions about student status and field experience.
