Financial Analyst, SG&A Operations

About the role
As a Financial Analyst on the SG&A Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering reliable, insight‑driven planning and reporting across SG&A functions. The role supports month‑end close, forecast cycles, variance analysis and standard reporting while contributing to ad‑hoc analysis and process‑improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support month‑end close activities, prepare variance analysis and provide clear commentary.
- Assist forecast and budget cycles by consolidating inputs, validating data and ensuring timely, accurate outputs.
- Own recurring cost‑center and OPEX reporting for assigned functional areas.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses such as business cases, spend deep dives, scenario modelling and senior‑manager requests.
- Build and maintain relationships with directors, cost‑center owners and functional teams as a trusted point of contact.
- Perform data validation and quality‑assurance checks, identifying and resolving issues early.
- Participate in Centre of Excellence initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and leading at least one improvement project per year.
Required profile
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
