About the role

Our client is looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join their finance team in Calgary. You will interpret financial data, deliver actionable insights, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
• Develop financial models to aid planning and business decisions.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather and evaluate financial data.
• Assist with variance analysis and recommend improvements.
• Maintain reporting accuracy and strengthen financial processes and controls.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial systems.
• Clear communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling is preferred.
