Finance Operations Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a hands‑on Finance Operations Consultant to join its Operate Finance team. You will work directly with clients to manage day‑to‑day accounting processes and support month‑end and year‑end close activities in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute core accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close by preparing journal entries, working papers, and financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to clarify accounting requirements, resolve operational issues, and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Produce clear documentation, client updates, and presentations as needed.
• Contribute to the creation of best‑practice templates and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
