Family Physician – Part‑Time or Full‑Time

About the role

The Health Centre in Kitchener‑Waterloo is seeking a Family Physician to join an interdisciplinary team delivering primary care to complex client populations. The position can be arranged from 0.6 to 1.0 full‑time equivalent (22.5‑37.5 hours per week) on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health education in line with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario standards.
• Offer consultation support to Nurse Practitioners for cases beyond their scope.
• Maintain accurate chart documentation, review labs, renew prescriptions, and participate in case conferences.
• Help develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate medical protocols, directives, and health‑promotion programs.
• Engage in ongoing organizational and clinical training.

Required profile

• Medical degree and active licence to practice in Ontario.
• Experience in primary care, preferably with complex or underserved populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
