Executive Director – Long Term Care

About the role

RhynoCare is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead a Long‑Term Care residence in Kitchener, ON. The position is engaged as an Independent Contractor, offering competitive compensation, flexible scheduling and ongoing support to enable you to focus on delivering exceptional resident care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of resident‑focused services and initiatives that enhance well‑being and quality of life.
• Maintain a secure, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Oversee admissions, transfers and discharges processes to ensure smooth resident flow.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and community partners.
• Address concerns raised by residents and families, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution.
• Monitor operational performance, ensuring departments function effectively and meet regulatory standards.
• Support implementation of policies, procedures and standards across the residence.
• Promote collaboration and accountability among leadership and care teams.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary diploma in Health or Social Services (minimum two‑year program).
• Completed or currently enrolled in a Long‑Term Care Residence Administration or Management program (≥100 instructional hours).
• At least three years of leadership, management or supervisory experience in healthcare or social services.
• Preferred experience in Long‑Term Care operations or administration.
