Faculty Position – Management Course Instructor

About the role

This full‑time faculty position involves teaching a cross‑functional, experiential course on business planning within an entrepreneurial environment. The instructor will guide a class of up to 36 students, fostering active community engagement and project‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and facilitate experiential learning activities for the business planning course.
• Develop and continuously improve curriculum, assignments, and assessment methods.
• Coordinate community partnerships to provide real‑world project opportunities for students.
• Manage classroom dynamics, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with department colleagues on academic initiatives and program development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a field relevant to business planning, entrepreneurship, or a related discipline.
• Recent professional experience in business, board service, or active participation in professional associations or policy‑making bodies (within the last five years).
• Consideration given to candidates with an undergraduate degree plus a relevant professional designation.
• Prior university teaching experience is an asset.
