Facilities & Social Enterprise Coordinator

About the role

The Facilities & Social Enterprise Coordinator supports the Calgary John Howard Society by overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of its facilities and its social‑enterprise programmes. The role combines contract and vendor management, maintenance coordination, fleet administration and project support for the Director of Employment & Social Enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage facilities contracts, inspections, maintenance tickets and ensure timely completion of repairs across all CJHS sites.
• Coordinate fleet administration, including vehicle scheduling, servicing and record‑keeping.
• Oversee the social‑enterprise programme, handling participant coordination, client administration and project reporting.
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Employment & Social Enterprise, preparing reports and tracking performance metrics.
• Liaise with the Crew Supervisor, Employment Hub, Bluebell, external contractors, vendors and community partners to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities with experience managing multiple projects, contracts and stakeholders.
• Proven record of maintaining accurate documentation, reporting and data management.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills for collaboration with internal teams, contractors and community partners.
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks and see projects through to completion.
• Experience in employment, training, social‑enterprise, facilities or human‑service programmes is an asset.
