Exam Invigilator for Final Term Exams

About the role

McGill University is seeking reliable invigilators to supervise a series of final term examinations across multiple locations. The role involves ensuring a smooth, secure, and compliant testing environment for students during the exam period.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms according to specific setup requirements and verify that all equipment functions correctly.
• Administer both electronic and paper exams, distribute materials, and collect completed tests.
• Assist students with procedural questions, direct technical issues to IT support, and ensure compliance with university exam regulations.
• Collect and secure all mobile and web‑accessible devices before the exam starts and return them afterward.
• Accompany students to washrooms when needed and alert the professor or exam administrator of any concerns.
• At the end of each session, gather all exam materials, ensure nothing is left behind, and report completion to the supervising staff.

Required profile

• Minimum education: High School Leaving Certificate or Diploma.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain a professional, impartial demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple exam sessions simultaneously.
