Exam Invigilator for Final Exams (33 positions)

About the role

The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University is seeking 33 exam invigilators to support a series of final examinations in April and May. This temporary, on‑site role involves supervising both electronic and paper‑based assessments across multiple campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms according to specific layout and equipment requirements.
• Ensure all electronic devices are collected before the exam starts and returned afterward.
• Administer the delivery of electronic and paper exams, monitoring timing and documentation.
• Assist students with procedural questions and direct technical issues to IT support or the Exam Administrator.
• Enforce university exam regulations, including monitoring for prohibited behavior.
• Accompany students to washrooms when needed and alert the professor or Exam Administrator of any concerns.
• Collect all exam materials at the end of each session and report completion to the responsible faculty member.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent diploma.
• Reliability and punctuality for scheduled exam dates and times.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Comfort working in a university environment with diverse student populations.
