Equipment Operator – Residential Grading & Loaming

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our residential construction team in Edmonton. The role focuses on final grading and loaming for new home builds during the construction season and transitions to snow‑removal duties in winter.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a full‑size skid steer to perform fine grading and loaming on residential lots.
• Mark and verify grades accurately and direct truck traffic for material placement.
• Coordinate with the crew to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
• Operate a Bobcat mini skid steer (463 / S70) when required.
• Transition to snow‑removal equipment during the winter months.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of skid steer operating experience in residential construction.
• Proven ability to grade and loam residential lots.
• Comfortable marking grades and directing trucks.
• Strong understanding of site safety and job sequencing.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work well in a team.
