Emergency Nurse – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

The Northern Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Emergency Nurse to join its team in Prince George, BC. This is a permanent, full‑time position offering shift and on‑call work within a dynamic hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Address and document patient symptoms and changes in condition.
• Assess patients to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise licensed practical nurses and other staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• 1–2 years of experience in emergency or critical care nursing.
• Eligibility for RN licensure in British Columbia.
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), CPR, Certified Nurse in Critical Care – Canada (CNCC‑C), First Aid.
• Willingness to relocate and availability for shift/on‑call work.
