Director, SPM Implementation

About the role

Forma.ai is seeking a senior leader to drive the strategic direction of Sales Performance Management (SPM) implementation and customer onboarding for enterprise clients. The role combines leadership, technical architecture, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure customers realize maximum value from the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the implementation strategy and operational framework for onboarding and scaling customer deployments.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing implementation team, establishing best practices and standards for delivery excellence.
• Serve as a senior strategic advisor to executive client stakeholders, guiding optimization of sales compensation programs.
• Guide architectural design of customer implementations, translating complex data structures and compensation models into scalable platform configurations.
• Partner with product, engineering, sales, and revenue operations to translate customer insights into product improvements and new capabilities.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of relevant experience, including leadership in implementation, consulting, revenue operations, or analytics‑driven SaaS environments.
• Experience with Sales Incentive Compensation or Sales Performance Management platforms.
• Proven ability to build and lead implementation or customer operations teams in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
• Strong experience working with large datasets and complex data architectures.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Excel and analytical tools for data profiling, segmentation, and modeling.
• Experience designing commission engine architecture, rules logic, and data pipelines.
• Deep understanding of system workflows, data modeling, and platform configuration.
