Desktop Administrator

About the role

The Desktop Administrator will join the Toronto office to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the company’s desktop and Mac environments. This six‑month, onsite position focuses on hands‑on infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and end‑user support.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and client applications.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for Windows and Mac workstations, including JAMF management.
• Monitor system performance, apply updates, and ensure consistent network connectivity.
• Collaborate with network services, software engineering, and application development teams to resolve incidents.
• Log troubleshooting activities and maintain documentation for timely problem resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in desktop support and systems operations.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, system performance monitoring, and JAMF platform.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts is a plus.
