Data & AI Analytics Consultant

About the role

CIBC is building a relationship‑oriented bank for the modern world and seeks a Consultant, Data and AI Analytics to support senior management with data‑driven insights. You will analyze data, develop intelligent AI solutions, and deliver actionable business recommendations while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Apply statistical techniques and machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries.
• Design and implement AI agents that automate insight generation and decision support.
• Partner with data engineers, AI scientists, and business teams to ensure compliance and alignment with innovation goals.
• Conduct impact analysis, provide feedback, and recommend AI‑enabled solutions to business problems.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
• At least 2 years working with Azure Databricks and 1–2 years with GenAI tools such as Microsoft Co‑Pilot Studio.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with SQL and Python.
• Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, business) or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and decision‑making abilities.
• Understanding of IT environments and cross‑functional process integration, preferably within capital markets or equities.
