Cybersecurity Director

About the role

Agropur is hiring a Cybersecurity Director in St-Hubert, Quebec, to lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity and information security strategies and programs across the organization. The incumbent safeguards the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the organization's information assets, systems, data and networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an information security and cybersecurity strategy, including policies, procedures, controls and guidelines.
• Lead a team of information security and cybersecurity professionals, providing leadership, coaching and support.
• Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities, and implement risk mitigation strategies and incident response plans.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring and incident response, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with information security laws, regulations and industry standards, and promote security awareness through employee training.
• Assess the security posture of third-party service providers and manage vendor relationships.
• Lead investigations into security incidents, perform forensic analyses and coordinate with legal counsel and law enforcement when needed.
• Coordinate internal and external security audits and assessments, and define and report security metrics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the information technology industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading an information security team.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is an asset.
• Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written, is required.

Required skills

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex information security projects and programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience with at least one project/program management methodology (e.g., PMBOK).
