Customer Experience Representative – Operations

About the role

As a Customer Experience Representative – Operations you will help create a welcoming, joyful environment for both employees and customers in an Indigo store. You will support daily store operations, engage shoppers, and embody Indigo’s mission to inspire reading and enrich lives.

Key responsibilities

• Support store operations during early‑morning or late‑evening shifts (5 AM or 10 PM start).
• Perform inventory cycle counts, replenish stock, process returns, and receive new merchandise.
• Apply merchandising standards to create visually appealing displays and curated product collections.
• Engage customers on the floor, share product stories, and add joy to their experience.
• Maintain health and safety standards and respond promptly to customer feedback.
• Model Indigo’s high‑performance characteristics and hold self and teammates accountable.

Required profile

• Adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn all aspects of store operations.
• Strong commitment to creating a positive employee and customer experience.
• Ability to work independently during early or late shifts.
• Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
