Course Lecturer – Inclusion: Past, Present and Future

About the role

The Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology seeks a Course Lecturer to teach EDPI 642-003 "Inclusion: Past, Present and Future" in the Fall 2026 term. This is a unionized, course‑by‑course appointment delivering three credit hours of in‑person instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver weekly lectures on Thursday evenings (18:05‑20:55) from August 31 to December 4, 2026.
• Prepare and update course materials to reflect current research and best practices in inclusive education.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and participation.
• Maintain alignment with program‑developed competencies and evolving course content requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Educational Psychology, Human Development, Applied Psychology, Child Development, Clinical Psychology, or an equivalent field.
• Background in inclusive education and experience working with teachers.
• Demonstrated satisfactory teaching evaluations in this or related courses, as specified by departmental expectations.
