About the role

The Guo‑hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer for ARCH 672 – Architectural Design Studio 1 for the Fall 2026 term. The studio focuses on comprehensive design investigations that integrate circular‑economy principles and life‑cycle thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in the ARCH 672 studio, covering architectural, engineering, and landscape concepts.
• Develop and coordinate assignments, mid‑term modules, and final reviews with invited critics.
• Collaborate closely with the Director, Studio Coordinator, and fellow instructors to align scope, schedule, and resources.

Required profile

• M.Arch or equivalent first professional degree.
• Professional practice experience and/or post‑secondary teaching experience in architecture.
