Course Lecturer – Creativity and its Cultivation

About the role

The Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology seeks a Course Lecturer to teach EDPI 527 – Creativity and its Cultivation in the Fall 2026 term. This is a three‑credit, non‑team‑taught course delivered on‑site at McGill University.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver weekly lectures (Wednesday 18:05‑20:55) and facilitate classroom discussions.
• Design and update course materials, ensuring content reflects the latest research on creativity.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and grades in accordance with university policies.
• Collaborate with the department to align the course with program competencies.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Educational Psychology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the college or university level.
• Strong background in creativity research and its application in educational settings.
• Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs.
• Positive teaching evaluations that meet departmental expectations.
