About the role

The School of Human Nutrition at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer for the Fall 2026 term to teach NUTR 342 – Applied Human Resources. The position involves delivering lectures on Thursdays from 8:35 am to 11:25 am on the Macdonald Campus and supporting students through exam sessions and grading.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver weekly lectures covering human resource management in nutrition and food‑service contexts.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessment tools aligned with university standards.
• Be available for scheduled final exams and grade examinations promptly.
• Provide academic guidance and feedback to students.

Required profile

• Experience managing people in workplace settings, preferably within nutrition or food‑service environments.
• Team leadership experience and strong communication abilities.
• Professional credential such as CHRP and/or a Master’s degree in education or management.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, for all teaching and administrative duties.
