Country Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Country Human Resources Generalist develops and delivers HR strategies at the country level, supporting multiple businesses and functions. Reporting to the Country People Org. Lead, the role ensures HR initiatives align with business priorities and local legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑range HR support and implement policies and programs at the country level.
• Apply knowledge of HP HR practices and provincial employment legislation to ensure compliance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, resolving conflicts and supporting employee development.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver localized versions of global programs.
• Consult on employment standards, leaves, performance management, and other HR programs.
• Support career navigation, rewards planning, health & safety initiatives, and payroll coordination.
• Lead projects such as workforce redeployment, university hiring, and contingent workforce management.

Required profile

• University degree in business, human resources, psychology or a related field.
• Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., CHRP, CHRL).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience across various functions.
