About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our West Vancouver kitchen team at Kentucky Fried Chicken. The role involves preparing high‑quality meals, managing kitchen operations and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Determine portion sizes and associated costs for menu items.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory records.
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals as directed.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques and safe handling.
- Order supplies and equipment, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and manage overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
