About the role
Join a community‑focused grocery chain as the Deli Department Manager, leading the day‑shift team in delivering exceptional service and product quality. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining standards, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Anticipate customers’ needs and prioritize service.
- Lead, coach and motivate team members to achieve sales and growth.
- Maintain merchandising and operational standards in the deli department.
- Account for departmental sales results and meet financial objectives.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service focus with ability to build loyalty.
- Prior experience in a deli or similar department preferred.
- Proven ability to create a positive workplace and engage colleagues.
- Previous retail or food‑service management experience.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
