About the role
We are looking for a dedicated cook to join our team at Wang Ga Ma Restaurant in Coquitlam. The position involves preparing dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to an inclusive and diverse work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Order supplies and equipment and maintain inventory records.
- Clean kitchen and work areas regularly.
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of cooking experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to an inclusive workplace, with awareness training for persons with disabilities, newcomers, youth, and Indigenous workers.
