About the role
We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team at Refinery Grill in Edmonton. The role involves preparing meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food quality for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Prepare special meals as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- Organize buffets and banquets.
- Manage overall kitchen operations.
