Conveyor Operator – Full‑time, Tumbler Ridge, BC

About the role

Conuma Resources is seeking a full‑time Conveyor Operator to join its mining operation near Tumbler Ridge, BC. You will be responsible for safely running and monitoring conveyor systems that transport coal and related materials throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Start, stop, and adjust conveyor belts according to production schedules.
• Monitor material flow and watch for blockages, unusual noises, or equipment issues.
• Perform basic visual inspections and report or address minor problems promptly.
• Clean conveyor areas and assist with routine maintenance under supervision.
• Collaborate with plant operators, maintenance crews, and supervisors to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; mining or heavy‑industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in dusty, variable‑weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to meet site medical and drug‑testing requirements.
