Controller – Manufacturing Finance Leader

About the role

The organization is seeking a Controller to lead the finance function for a major production facility in Mississauga. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will bridge accounting, operations, and strategy to drive performance and support senior decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full month‑end close process, delivering accurate and compliant financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, providing analysis that informs business decisions.
• Partner with plant leadership and operational teams to identify efficiency and performance improvement opportunities.
• Oversee inventory accounting, working‑capital management, and fixed‑asset reporting while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Develop financial models and operational insights to highlight performance drivers and risks.
• Support audit, internal‑control, and compliance activities in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations for business leaders.

Required profile

• CPA designation.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to pass pre‑employment screening.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
