About the role

The Victoria Royals are looking for an energetic Content Creator to shape the online storytelling of the team. You will capture the excitement, emotion, and personality of players, coaches, fans, and the community, producing digital content that drives engagement and strengthens the Royals brand.

Key responsibilities

• Attend all home games, practices, community events, promotional activities, and media days.
• Capture high‑quality photos and videos of the team, fans, partners, and community initiatives.
• Create real‑time social media content during games and events, including behind‑the‑scenes coverage and in‑game highlights.
• Plan, film, edit, and publish original content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Develop recurring content series to boost fan engagement and brand awareness.
• Produce promotional videos and assets for ticket sales, sponsorship activations, and special events.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, partnerships, and game presentation teams.
• Edit photos and videos using industry‑standard software with quick turnaround.
• Assist with player interviews, feature stories, and storytelling that highlights team culture.
• Maintain and organize digital media assets for easy access.

Required profile

• Experience creating digital content for sports, brands, or organizations.
• Strong photography and videography abilities.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent editing tools.
• Experience shooting with DSLR, mirrorless, or mobile platforms.
• Understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
• Excellent storytelling and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Evening and weekend availability throughout the season.
