Content and Community Manager

About the role

The Content & Community Lead will be the voice and storyteller for Haven Greens, a growth‑stage sustainable agriculture company in Ontario. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will own the brand’s content and social media presence end‑to‑end, creating engaging posts that drive community growth and influence purchase decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality short‑form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and emerging formats, publishing 3–5 pieces per week.
• Develop content ideas rooted in real‑world usage occasions and bring them to life on camera and in edit.
• Shoot, edit and publish content across platforms, capturing moments at home, in‑store, at the greenhouse and at events.
• Stay ahead of platform trends and identify authentic participation opportunities.
• Create quick‑turn marketing assets in Canva and AI tools, including banners, sell sheets and social graphics.
• Own and manage Haven Greens’ presence on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, tailoring content per channel.
• Engage actively with the community by responding to comments, DMs and fostering conversations.
• Monitor performance metrics, use data to inform content decisions and report on growth and engagement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on creator with strong instincts and a genuine passion for storytelling.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑moving startup environment and figuring things out on the fly.
• Scrappy, proactive and able to produce content without relying on a “post and schedule” approach.

Required skills

• Video production and editing (short‑form formats).
• Proficiency with Canva.
• Experience using AI‑based content creation tools.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn.
