Construction Supervisor – Civil (Remote Mining Site, Ontario)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor – Civil to lead civil, structural and building envelope works at a remote mining operation in Northern Ontario. Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will manage contractors and field crews on a FIFO 15/13 rotation, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery of multi‑year capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil, structural, and building envelope construction activities on site.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and field crews in a remote construction environment.
• Ensure compliance with Ontario construction, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, schedules, productivity and quality performance.
• Support field coordination between construction, engineering and project teams.
• Review contractor methodologies, progress reports, inspections, permits and timesheets.
• Assist with RFIs, field issue resolution and change management activities.
• Promote and enforce strong safety standards and site procedures.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction supervision experience in mining, industrial or large infrastructure projects, with experience in Ontario mining.
• Strong civil and/or building envelope construction background.
• In‑depth knowledge of Ontario construction and safety regulations and TSSA‑regulated industrial environments.
• Experience working on remote or rotational projects preferred.
• Ability to work a 14/14 rotation at a remote mining site.
