Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Construction Site Supervisor to lead our crew on various projects in Edmonton. The role involves overseeing daily site activities, ensuring quality concrete work, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and progress reports.
• Supervise workers, apprentices, and trades helpers.
• Coordinate and schedule site activities and material deliveries.
• Train staff or arrange training as needed.
• Set up machines and construction equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Recommend personnel actions and manage team performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and use hand/power tools to achieve desired finishes.
• Direct placement of concrete into forms and verify formwork, granular base, and reinforcement.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
• Physically demanding work: standing, bending, crouching, kneeling for long periods.
• Excellent oral communication, reliability and a strong team‑player attitude.
• Own steel‑toed safety boots.
