Construction site supervisor

About the role

The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee daily operations on building sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Reporting to senior management, you will coordinate crews, manage resources, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and progress reports for management.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors, providing direction and instruction.
• Coordinate and schedule site activities to meet project timelines.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard site personnel as needed.
• Organise training or arrange external training for staff.
• Set up machines and equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Estimate material and labour costs and monitor expenditures.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on the site.
• Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Lead and motivate individuals and teams to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in construction site supervision or a similar role.
• Ability to work on‑site full time; remote work is not an option.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
