Construction Electrician – Calgary

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Electrician to join Skyline Electrical Services Inc. in Calgary. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various construction sites. You will work outdoors in diverse conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and extreme temperatures.

Key responsibilities

• Install underground wiring, surface‑mount and overhead cables, and power generation or standby systems.
• Splice, join, and connect wires; test voltage, loads, ground faults and circuit integrity.
• Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults on residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Ground and bond electrical equipment, including swimming pools and hot tubs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, maps and specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience as a construction electrician.
• Electrician Trade Certification and Red Seal Construction Electrician Certificate.
• Working at heights, WHMIS, First Aid and Fall Arrest training.
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and willingness to travel.
• Bondable with basic security clearance and background checks.
