Concrete Pump Operator

About the role

Hall Shoring & Foundations is seeking a dedicated Concrete Pump Operator to join our Edmonton team. You will operate concrete pumping equipment on foundation and shoring projects, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of concrete to the job site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate line pump and static agitator simultaneously while monitoring pressures and slump.
• Fuel equipment, perform pre‑trip checks, and complete daily/weekly maintenance.
• Walk the line, connect hoses, mix grout, prime lines, and spot concrete trucks to the pump location.
• Communicate with rig operators and lead hands to control flow, reverse, or stop pumping as needed.
• Track strokes per pile, record concrete quantities, and report end‑of‑day totals.
• Clean equipment after each shift and maintain a tidy work area.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in concrete pumping or related field (piling/foundation drilling a plus).
• CCPO certification or CFA experience considered an asset.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow all PPE and site procedures.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude with problem‑solving abilities.
