About the role
BCP Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join its team in Calgary. The role involves working on a variety of construction sites, both residential and commercial, ensuring concrete surfaces meet grade and finish specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement before concrete placement.
- Place concrete directly into forms or onto surfaces, fill hollows, and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
- Level and finish top surfaces according to depth and grade specifications.
- Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages and apply hardening and sealing components.
Required profile
- Accurate and detail‑oriented.
- Strong oral communication and client focus.
- Flexible team player with dependable work ethic.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Proficiency with power tools.
