Community Inclusion Worker – Temporary Part Time

About the role

As an integral part of the Community Living Team, you will support the quality of life for participants by ensuring their physical, social, vocational, educational and medical needs are met. You will also help implement all aspects of each participant’s program in line with agency policies, procedures and philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the physical, social, vocational, educational and medical needs of participants.
• Implement participants’ program according to agency policies and philosophy.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm, empathy, warmth and understanding aligned with the organization’s vision and values.
• Ability to advocate, provide personalized support and teach life‑skills and self‑advocacy.
• Knowledge of community living theory, values and practices.
• Effective collaboration with families, staff, volunteers and external organisations.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform lifts and client transfers.
• Strong interpersonal communication and time‑management skills.
• Positive role‑model promoting a healthy lifestyle.

What we offer

• $500 hiring incentive payable after successful completion of the three‑month probationary period.
