Commercial Director – Mobility & Growth

About the role

The Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) is seeking a Commercial Director to lead revenue generation and growth initiatives across its core parking business and emerging mobility services. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement, the role will shape commercial strategy, build partnerships and drive the organization’s evolution into an integrated mobility provider.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies that increase revenue from parking operations and new mobility offerings.
• Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with municipal, private‑sector and technology partners.
• Lead business development activities, expand key accounts and oversee marketing and brand initiatives.
• Introduce discipline to go‑to‑market planning, sales execution and performance management.
• Mentor and develop a growing commercial team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in public‑sector or mobility‑related organizations.
• Strong track record of business development, partnership creation and revenue growth.
• Ability to work with senior leadership, municipal stakeholders and diverse external partners.
• Strategic thinker with a results‑oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
