Co-Founder & Head of Growth

About the role

We are launching a new AI‑native software company and need a Co‑Founder & Head of Growth to build the commercial engine from day one. You will own the go‑to‑market strategy, close early customers, and shape the company’s positioning alongside the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead founder‑led selling for the first 12–18 months, securing design partners and paying customers.
• Define ideal customer profile, pricing, packaging, and the initial sales motion from scratch.
• Build the commercial playbook covering messaging, discovery, demos, closing, and expansion.
• Partner with the CEO on early marketing, brand, and fundraising narratives.
• Hire and lead the first go‑to‑market team once the motion is proven.
• Own revenue forecasting and pipeline management through Series A and beyond.

Required profile

• 7+ years of B2B sales or marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
• Prior experience at an early‑stage startup (Seed to Series B) as an early commercial hire or founding sales leader.
• Proven track record of building a go‑to‑market motion from zero.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the zero‑to‑one phase.
• Strong written and verbal communication; will be the voice of the company to customers and investors.
• Based in Toronto or willing to work on‑site frequently.
