CNC Machinist – Aviation/Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our aviation/aerospace manufacturing team in Windsor, ON. The role involves reading engineering drawings, setting up and operating CNC and conventional machine tools, and ensuring precision of machined parts.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Set up, adjust, and operate conventional and computer‑controlled machine tools, including automatic lathes, boring machines, EDM, milling machines and surface grinders.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments and document any deviations from specifications.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges and verniers, and complete inspection reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining within aviation/aerospace or general manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability and effective communication skills.
